The background of this work has been built up and taken down in many layers – like weathered walls that have caught the light of the south. Above: Blossoms that tell of warm summers. And a small bird that appears as if made of gold leaf – hidden, precious, almost like a memory that appears and disappears again. A picture like an enchanted garden. Still. Multi-layered.
