South of France

As a child I often went on holiday to the south of France and the best part was always when it was market day in Uzés. Then the large market square with its plane trees was filled with a variety of stalls: tables with flowers, hats, honey from Provence, cheese, fish stalls with huge fish (at least that’s how it seemed to me as a child) fragrant market tables full of lavender, lavender sachets and herbs! The smell was indescribable and all the traders were praising their goods, you should try them everywhere – it was an incredible experience! Between all the stalls the cafés had set up their tables with the typical wicker chairs and how nice it was to drink a coffee and eat a delicious croissant between all the colorful hustle and bustle.
Nothing found.
