The beginning of a new series…Jardin du Sud unfolds like an inner garden of light, flowers in the wind and golden leaves! Worked in many fine layers, the picture carries gold, rosé and warm cream tones, which create a calm depth and give the picture its very special atmosphere. From a distance, it appears closed and calm. Only when you get closer does it begin to open up: Delicate blossoms gradually emerge, unfold their structure and become visible in the light. Depending on the time of day and season, they appear in the summer wind…like sunlight, the gold shines, gently breaks through and withdraws again – like sunlight falling through petals.
