Jardin du printemps

has been created in many layers… soft structures like leaves that catch the light… on top of which are countless glazes of delicate olive green, Venetian pink, rosé and warm gold. The garden changes with each layer. Some colors disappear again under new layers, others shimmer gently through. Only at the very end do the flowers begin to emerge – delicately, almost as if by chance – and yet exactly where the sunlight finds them.
