Olive Grove

…my newest garden is inspired by the olive groves in the south. Leaves rustling in the warm summer breeze, the scent of lavender, and the chirping of cicadas… I love it when the summer evening light shines through the leaves and the warm, slightly sandy soil glows in the twilight.

With each new layer, the garden changes. Some colors disappear again beneath new layers, while others shimmer gently through them. Only at the very end do the blossoms begin to appear—delicate, almost as if by chance… an olive grove!
