Small garden after the rain

…my latest garden with a particularly mysterious depth: a garden after a light summer rain has been created in countless layers…soft structures like leaves covered by rain that catch the light… on top of this are glazes of delicate olive green, Venetian pink, rosé and warm gold. The garden changes with each layer. Some colors disappear again under new layers, others shimmer gently through. Only at the very end do the flowers begin to emerge – delicately, almost as if by chance – and yet exactly where the sunlight finds them after a summer rain.
